Breaking: Mugabe Vows To Remain President After Being Fired By Ruling Party.

President Robert Mugabe, who was fired by the ruling party Zanu-PF earlier in the day, has vowed to stay on as the President of Zimbabwe. This has led to confusion during his address to Zimbabwe on state TV where he refused to resign from his position as head of state.
During his address on state TV, Mugabe said that he was aware of the issues concerning the citizens of his country and that his people need peace, security, law, and order.
He added that “Issues raised by the Zanu-PF have to be attended to with great urgency.”
“The era of victimisation, arbitrary decisions must be put behind us.
“I will preside over Zanu-PF December congress.”
“We must learn to forgive, and resolve the contradiction in a comradely spirit.”
The ruling party gave him until Monday noon to step down, or face impeachment.
