Al Franken, a Democratic Party Senator from the state of Minnesota, has just announced on the house floor that he will be resigning from the Senate.

This comes after a string of sexual harassment cases came forward against him, in which many women accused him of sexually assaulting them in previous years.
Franken told the Senate floor that he as resigning amid sexual harassment allegations.
“Even on the worst day of my political life, I feel like it’s all been worth it,” he said.
