Former leader of the UKIP party, Nigel Farage, says he is growing increasingly concerned that the UK’s historic vote to leave the European Union could be overturned.
Farage, one of the most vocal supporters of the UK’s decision to leave the EU, claims that due to the setbacks in negotiations, the Leave campaign is losing ground, and the voices calling for the UK to remain in the EU are receiving greater leverage due to this failure.
“The ‘Remain’ side is making all the running,” Farage said to the Observer. “They have a majority in parliament, and unless we get ourselves organized we could lose the historic victory that was Brexit.”
Last week, Nigel Farage angered many of his supporters after calling for a second referendum, something the ‘Remain’ campaign seemed to welcome.
